This site allows posting of events in the Thunder Bay area and share them with the site visitors and the social networks.
This site once again will display event listings posted by its users!
Earlier the ability to post and display those posts on our website had been disabled due to more and more of its users have been posting to Facebook instead. At that time this site displayed an events feed from Facebook (What’s going on in Thunder Bay?) and featured a listing of other ‘event’ sites so you can still come here to access ALL of the events available in the Thunder Bay area.
Facebook Feed
However since Facebook managed to fail us all (yet again), ThunderBayEvents.ca have rebuilt the local event posts section of the site. Now that it accepts event postings again, it would be a good idea to post events to it (even if you already posted your event to Facebook). Hopefully the Facebook feed will be working again, when it does we will have it available again, however our own feed may be placed on the home page if active enough.
BTW:
This site also allows sharing the posts on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ social sites! Visit the post you want to share, scroll down a little and the share buttons will appear.
Widening the scope
If looking for events outside of Thunder Bay yet still in Northwestern Ontario I recommend visiting the 807.events site which is part of the 807/NWO network.
